~ Is it necessary to have known pain? What of those who have lives that in ease and comfort stay?
Those whose lives of comfort may to others painless seem, have yet
experienced discomfort others have not seen. Do old age and illness not ravage the rich and poor
alike? Is the guarding of wealth
not a source of strife? Happiness
and joy comes from the attitudes harbored within, from riding upon life’s air
currents, rather than battling its winds.
~ But does pain not hone and refine?
Only when to life’s great gifts we are blind. Pain then reminds us of the treasures of life: we can learn
through enjoyment, or we can learn through strife.
~ What of the body’s pain and duress? What of fatigue and physical distress?
The miracle of the body is not understood, for man would then marvel, if
he could think of the body as a pliant tool; not as the tyrant that wishes to
rule…
~ But if we don’t feed it, then our it shall die!
Then you believe the body’s despotic lies…It’s untruths around you like
a spider web lie; that breaths and a heartbeat help it survive. It’s the greater self that keeps it
alive. When the heart embraces the
unfolding of life, only peace
remains…no more strife.

Though the passage of time is but a dream
Great the pressure on the light ones has been
But momentum was needed, from artificial life to break free
But within its illusion a great gift does lie
The flurry of activity, no rest nor ease
Helps us appreciate the One Life’s peace.
